Totes genials. Salutacions

You sir, know how to handle a pencil!

It just goes to show that in this digital day and age, you still can't beat the utter simplicity of a pencil.

...okay, I think it's time I go sharpen a pencil and put it to paper.

Gràcies Maria, m'animes!

Nen, m'encantaria...

Absolutly agree with you Jason. Thanks for your comment. I will be happy to see your work with pencil!

Aquestes improvisacions sobre cuadernillo són les millors. Són personatges existents?
una abraçada!

I like that the teacher has a sense of humor about himself, this is a wonderful quality to have.

Very nice characters. That teacher has some really talented students in his class. Like the monocle of that pipe smoking gentleman. The mouse is just too cute. You inspire me to sharpen my pencils now :)

Hi Roger - I really love these pencil drawings, and the characters are just great!

Thanks for your comment and question on my blog about my architectural illustrations (I have been on holiday, so am only just catching up with comments)- I used scanned-in pencil drawings, but finished them digitally in photoshop. I am constantly switching between the computer and pencils, pen or paint, and I still can't decide which I prefer. In the last few years I've found myself doing more and more digital stuff for publishers, so one of the reasons for doing IF was to force myself to start using more traditional techniques again - and I have to say, I'm enjoying it!
I do believe the simple pencil is very hard to beat! But then one can scan it into the computer and do magical stuff to it that would be hard to recreate by hand - I don't know...good to have the choice I guess?!

I meant to leave a comment earlier about your lighthouse man post - it was really interesting to see the different techniques - loved all of them,(especially his shoes!) but particularly liked the pen and ink at the bottom - I liked his trousers in that one for some reason!!

Doncs no Núria, és dibuixar per dibuixar.

Artspaker, thanks it was something I wanted to explain.

Ha, ha! Justdoodleit, I did the same at class when I was young (ei, now I'm still young!), but the teacher never thought I was talented...!

Thanks Mary, and thanks for the explanation! You are very kind.
Yes, I agree, it's good to have the choice. Computer can help you very much...! Anyway, Your work is magic, doesnt' mind if you do it by hand or by computer!

Roger, me parecen buenísimos.
